Online Piercing Jewelry Return & Refund Policy

This is Urban Ink Tattoos & Piercing's return and refund policy for physical piercing jewelry purchased online. The same policy is also available at urbaninkla.com/pages/online-piercing-jewelry-returns.

Scope

This policy applies only to physical piercing jewelry purchased online from urbaninkla.com. It does not apply to tattoo or piercing services, appointments, deposits, digital products, or in-store purchases, which may be governed by separate terms.

7-Day Returns for Unopened Jewelry

For hygiene and safety reasons, we accept a return of eligible piercing jewelry only when all of the following conditions are met:

You request the return within 7 calendar days after the order is delivered.
The tamper-evident seal is completely intact.
The item has not been opened, tried on, worn, inserted, used, or altered.
The item is returned in its original packaging.
You provide the order number or other proof of purchase.

Please verify the jewelry's size, material, color, and design before opening its sealed packaging. Once the seal or packaging has been opened, broken, removed, or damaged, the jewelry is final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged for hygiene reasons.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and are not eligible for a change-of-mind return:

Opened, tried-on, worn, inserted, used, or altered piercing jewelry.
Custom-made, personalized, special-order, or anodized jewelry.
Items specifically marked "Final Sale."
Gift cards.

These exclusions do not limit rights that apply to an item that is defective, damaged in transit, incorrectly supplied, or materially different from its description.

Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Misdescribed Items

If an item arrives damaged, has a manufacturing defect, is incorrect, or is materially different from its description, contact us promptly. Include your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging. After verification, we will provide a prepaid return label or otherwise cover reasonable return shipping and arrange an appropriate replacement or refund. The 7-day change-of-mind period does not limit rights that may apply to a qualifying problem that could not reasonably have been discovered during that period.

How to Request a Return

Before mailing or bringing anything to the studio, email cs@urbaninkla.com within the applicable return period. Include your name, order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for the return.

If the return is eligible, we will provide return authorization and instructions. Returns sent or brought in without prior authorization may be refused. Authorized returns may be mailed or brought to:

For mailed returns, we recommend using a trackable shipping service. Customers are responsible for the package until it is delivered to us.

Return Shipping, Exchanges, and Fees

For an ordinary return, including ordering the wrong size or changing your mind, the customer is responsible for return shipping. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. We do not charge a restocking fee.

We do not offer direct exchanges for ordinary returns. To obtain a different item or size, return the eligible unopened item for a refund and place a new order. This does not prevent us from replacing an incorrect, damaged, defective, or misdescribed item.

Refunds

We will inspect and process an eligible return within 5 business days after receiving it. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method for the eligible merchandise price and applicable sales tax. Your bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the refund.

Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights that apply where you live. If applicable law gives you additional rights, those mandatory rights control.
